*** SOLD OUT ***** Many of the characteristics of human-scale urban form that make a city liveable are not evident or utilized when traveling by car. This guided bike tour will highlight intentional and unintentional examples of urban design that contribute to a positive human experience within an urban environment. It will also call attention to areas in the City that would benefit from short-term enhancements to pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure and a long-term vision to return to human-scale development patterns.
The tour will start and end at Ashbaugh Park and will zigzag roughly 10 miles through Santa Fe on a mix of paved roads/paths, gravel roads/alleyways, and some compact dirt. It will culminate with conversation and connection over light food and drink.
This tour is free but will be limited to 20 participants. An RSVP is required to attend, so mark your calendars and stay tuned for more info. Event registration will be posted on the Friends of Architecture Santa Fe website and distributed via social media and our regular newsletters, so follow us now!
