Cabezon Campout by Bikepacking Roots

Join Backpacking Roots for a free, fun, ~60 mile, 3,500′ overnight around Cabezon Peak, east of Albuquerque and Santa Fe.

It’s a chance to:

  • Explore the beautiful Rio Puerco Valley.

    1. Make new bikepacking friends.

    2. Build your bikepacking skills.

    3. Connect with BPR staff, volunteers and members.

There will be lots of supportive folks out there, and a SAG wagon to meet riders at camp, but this is an unguided ride. You bring your bike, gear, food and self-sufficient riding skills and Bikepacking Roots will bring the community and camaraderie.
