Bike to School Bike Train – River Route

Starting off Santa Fe Bike Month, please consider hopping on the Thursday morning “Bike Train” headed up the River Trail from Frenchy’s Field to Aspen Community School and other points south and east.

Families, staff, and students from any school, and the community in general, are all invited to start their day the fun and healthy way.  In addition to Aspen, this route may serve families heading to Gonzales Community School, Mandela International School, Fayette Academy, NM School for the Deaf, Carlos Gilbert Elementary School, and even Acequia Madre Elementary School.  Find us at Frenchy’s Field (by the bridge over the Santa Fe River) at 7 am, join us along the way, or chart your own course at the time that is most convenient to you.

For more information on the Santa Fe Safe Routes to School initiative, see Safe Routes to School or contact Tim Rogers, Santa Fe Safe Routes to School Coordinator, at tim@sfct.org
